The Villas area is covered with an artificial thatched roof in Chuong My – Hanoi. Total roof area is 1200m2, covered with yellow-gray thatched panels, roofing density is 8 pieces/m2 and additional edging and roof edges.

Two-Story Wooden House: Roofed with gray-brown thatched panels, directly installed on wooden laths in Duy Tien District, Ha Nam Province. The installation method was direct, with a panel density equivalent to 15 pieces/m²
Villas Area: Roofed with gray-brown thatched panels in Ha Hoa, Phu Tho. The installation was on a metal roof with a coverage density of 8 pieces/m² and included eaves and roof edges.
Stilt House: Roofed with thatch pieces in Thung Lung Tinh Yeu, Lam Dong Province. The house was previously covered with natural gout thatch. After 3 years of use, the roof became rotten and infested with insects, leading the investor to replace it with artificial thatch roofing.

Quotation for Artificial Thatch
- Artificial thatch is sold per piece, with unit prices ranging from 50,000 VND/piece to 70,000 VND/piece, depending on the type chosen by the client.
- For calculation by square meter, 1 square meter will be covered with 6 to 14 sheets and will include eaves and roof edges.
- Therefore, on average, the cost of artificial thatch per square meter ranges from 312,000 VND/m² to 850,000 VND/m², depending on the structure of the building’s roof. For structures that already have metal, cement board, or concrete roofs, we only use 6 to 10 pieces/m² and include eaves and roof edges. For structures with direct application on wooden or metal lath, the recommended density is 12 to 14 pieces/m² and includes eaves and roof edges.
